Late post

I'm sorry for being MIA for so long. Things got really scary last night.
See shortly after we started watching the news, messages began to scroll on the bottom of the screen telling us to stock up on supplies such as duct tape (?) , water, batteries, an FM radio, and to lock doors, especially at night. the news kept flashing symptoms of the "illness" and urged us to call law enforcement at once
Dave scoffed at this. He knew what happened to me the other night with that girl getting her arm chewed off.
Fuck.
Is this really happening?
Well, what made things much worse, was the breaking news report on the local station.
See, it was one of those "on the scene" type things, where some dumbass reporter was trying to get "real" with the crowd. By real, I mean get up close to one of those...THINGS and tell the viewer what to look for.

"I think we already know that those things a'int right" Dave remarked.
We kept watching the show, and the reporter got way too close. The thing freaking grabbed him from behind. He started to scream and flail his hands, smacking it in the face, trying desperately to get away.
The thing bit his hand in mid swing.
It tore off 3 of his fingers. There was blood everywhere.

The cameraman couldn't stop recording, he just stood there. His friend was begging for help, and he just stood there recording. Eventually, the ghoul took a chunk out of the reporter's neck, and tore a solid piece of it out. The guy fell to the floor grabbing at the hole, and watched as his blood left him.
The camera man's shuddering was clearly audible now, he tried to run away but slammed right into another one of those things.
There was a herd of them now, they were totally attracted by the noise from the reporter. They were many. The camera man tried to run, but despite the fact they were pretty slow ones, he was frozen in fear. He didn't get very far, he kept running back and forth gasping , until his camera fell to the ground (he was grabbed) and we all got a good view of him getting knocked over and watching the zombies fall on him, pin him down and eat at his body.
The news station must have been in shock since they only cut out after the camera man began gurgling and twitching.
however, right before they cut out, I could have sword I saw the reporter from a little earlier heading towards the corpse of the camera man.

I need a break. What happened last night, afterward.
